Membership Requirements
Irvington FBLA welcomes all students who are interested in business, leadership, and personal growth. To become an official member, you must:
- Be an Irvington High School Student: Membership is open to all grade levels (9-12).
- Enroll in a CTE Course (Recommended): While we have the LOOP pathway for non-CTE students, being in a Career Technical Education (CTE) course unlocks the full FBLA experience, including competitions. Learn more about CTE courses.
- Pay Membership Dues: Dues cover state and national affiliation fees, as well as chapter activities. Check the Viking Vendor or announcements for current pricing.
- Fill out the Membership Form: Complete the official registration form to be added to our roster.
Steps to Join
Step 1: Attend a Meeting
Come to one of our general meetings to learn more about the club, meet the officers, and see what we're all about. Meetings are typically held in Norse Hall. Listen to the daily announcements for dates and times.
Step 2: Choose Your Pathway
Decide if you are joining through the CTE Pathway (for students in CTE classes) or the LOOP Pathway (for non-CTE students). Both pathways offer amazing opportunities, but competition eligibility varies.
Step 3: Register & Pay Dues
Visit the Viking Vendor online or in-person to pay your membership dues. Once paid, make sure to complete the online registration form provided by the officers.
